Arnie Prentice Arnie Prentice co-founded Kibble & Prentice in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Under his guidance as CEO and chairman, it became one of the largest independent financial services firms in the Northwest. Today, more than 160 associates work in offices located in Seattle and nearby Bellevue, offering personal and business insurance products, overseeing company benefit plans, and managing up to $450 million corporate and individual investments.

Kibble & Prentice embraces a code of high commercial honor, integrity, and fair play in both its client and employee relationships. It not only espouses this philosophy, but acts upon it by encouraging continuing education for its associates, by offering flexible hours for volunteer work at all levels, and by fostering leadership roles in civic and community activities. In 1999, it was awarded the Pacific Northwest Good Works Award, an honor bestowed on corporate citizens who demonstrate exceptional acts of public service in the Pacific Northwest. In 2001, the company received the Workplace Award from the King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

The philosophy of a company almost always reflects the personal values of its helmsman, and Kibble & Prentice is no exception. Arnie Prentice chose a highly challenging career. He tenaciously stayed the course, completing rigorous educational, experiential, regulatory and ethics mandates to become a Registered Investment Advisor, a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant. He advanced to the Million Dollar Round Table where he served as 1987-88 International President. To add to his repertoire, he took on the daunting field of emerging markets and acquisitions. Along the way he volunteered time as a member of many professional and civic associations at the international, national and local levels.

Well-known in the business community for his professional acumen, his leadership skills, and his humanity, Arnie is eagerly recruited to assist other managers with their operations. Besides Long Shadows Vintners, Prentice serves on the boards of Flow International, Northland Telecommunications Corporation and Starbucks Coffee Company.
